How does DisputePal protects my Stripe account exactly?

DisputePal acts as a seamless, no-code addition to your Stripe account.

By monitoring webhook events, we identify potential fraud — like usage of disposable emails or Early Fraud Warning signs (such as reported stolen credit cards). Once a red flag is raised, DisputePal implements the custom prevention strategies you've set. These could range from sending you an alert email to issuing a direct refund.

What is considered an "event"?

An event, in the context of DisputePal, refers to any webhook event we manage on your behalf. This encompasses a range of activities including successful charge transactions, disputes, and Early Fraud Warning events, such as instances where a card is reported lost or stolen. Each of these instances is counted as an event in our system.

How does DisputePal compares to Stripe Radar?

While both offer real-time fraud detection, DisputePal covers areas Stripe Radar might miss, like detecting fake customer emails, handling stolen credit card transactions, and managing cascading disputes.

Why is managing disputes so important?

Keeping your Stripe account in good standing is crucial. Just one dispute on a new account can put you at risk of being banned, regardless of your history with other Stripe accounts.

Do you really offer a lifetime license?

Absolutely! For a limited time, we're offering a lifetime license plan. This plan includes coverage for up to 10,000 events per month. Should your account exceed this number, a nominal fee of $0.01 per additional event will be charged. It's our way of providing long-term value and peace of mind for your business.

Can I connect more than one Stripe account?

Yes, but it depends on your plan. With our free plan, you can link a single Stripe account. Opt for our monthly or lifetime plans, and you can connect an unlimited number of Stripe accounts.

Do I need technical skills to use DisputePal?

Not at all! DisputePal is a no-code solution, designed for easy rule setting with just a few clicks. It’s user-friendly and requires no technical background.

Do I need to share my Stripe API key with you?

Yes. We'll guide you on how to create a Restricted API key with limited permissions for specific resources only. We'll never ask for your secret key.

Do DisputePal collect any of my customers’ data?

We prioritize your and your customers’ privacy. DisputePal doesn’t store any customer data. We simply respond to events on your Stripe account based on your predefined rules.

Can I develop a similar system myself?

Of course! However, building a similar system demands time technical expertise, and understanding Stripe's API and nuanced fraudulent patterns. DisputePal offers a ready-made, efficient solution — so why not use it? :)

Is it still possible to get a dispute?
